Talking Hello there

Hi, My name is Jo,

I have recently joined the forum as I can see myself needing help with wordpress issues from time to time.

I have started a small business and I need to establish some web presence.

Learning Flash and Dreamweaver is not an option at this stage and the funds have been few and far between. So my wise partner suggested that I download a free template and start there. And here I am.

Wordpress seems to be able to do all the things I need my website to do. Even password protecting pages.

I'm having trouble inserting a video into my post at the moment. I followed the instructions; have managed to upload sucessfully; I can also see that the file has been stored into the Media/Gallery . . . For some reason though when I click on the insert into post button. Nothing Happens!

The file is an Mp4 file. Are there any file size restrictions (15.6Mb)?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanking you

Jo

Welcome! Wordpress is cool and fun. Anyway, regarding your problem, you can try shutting down your PC or notebook and then booting up again. It worked for me.

Default Thank you

Hi raymondtsg,

Thanks for the quick response. Your suggestion worked first go!! . . . Can I be bold enough to ask another question.

When a user clicks on the link, the window changes to the video clip (perfect for what I need) However, is there a way I can add a "back to the previous page button" or perhaps open the video clip in a new window/tab?

I would use the back button on the browser to achieve this. Some clients who are not internet savvy, could get lost.

Again thanks for your response.

all the best

Jo
